Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information OddsBlitz collects, why we collect it, and how we store and protect it. We keep collection to the minimum we need to run the site and the waitlist.

1. Overview
OddsBlitz is an educational sports analysis framework. The public site lets you browse game schedules and a live dashboard, read the blog, and join a waitlist for future model access. This policy applies to information collected through this website.
2. Information we collect
Waitlist details. When you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit and, optionally, a name or handle you choose to give us. The email is normalized (trimmed and lowercased) so we can recognize duplicate sign-ups; the name is stored as you enter it.
Account details (administrators). The working product behind the waitlist uses authenticated accounts. If you hold one, your sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, which stores your email and an associated profile.
Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and database providers automatically log standard request information — such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps — for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
Spam-prevention field. The waitlist form includes a hidden anti-bot field. If it is filled in, the submission is treated as automated and its contents are discarded rather than stored.
We do not ask for, and the waitlist does not collect, passwords, payment details, government IDs, or other sensitive personal information.
3. How we use your information
- To add you to the waitlist and contact you about access when it becomes available.
- To recognize duplicate sign-ups so you are not added to the list twice.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the site.
- To respond to your requests, including privacy and deletion requests.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or use it for cross-site advertising.
5. How we store and protect your data
Information you submit is sent over an encrypted HTTPS/TLS connection and stored in a managed Postgres database hosted by our database provider (Supabase), which encrypts stored data at rest.
Access to waitlist records is restricted to site administrators using server-side credentials that are never exposed to the browser. We collect only the fields needed to run the waitlist, and we keep that data only for as long as described below.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We keep your waitlist information for as long as you remain on the list or until you ask us to remove it. If you request deletion, we will remove your record from the waitlist, subject to any limited retention required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention purposes.
8. Your rights and choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Children's privacy
OddsBlitz is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
